CCS 2017-18 Online Website Opens for "Back to School Forms"

Parents of returning students to Coshocton City Schools can now login into OneView (https://coshocton.esvportal.com) to update student address and phone number, complete the emergency medical form, the student health history and emergency dismissal form.

CHS Teacher Receives Distinguished Educator Award
Jon Snider, Coshocton HS English teacher, was recently a recipient of the 2017 Celebrate Teaching Distinguished Educator Award. He was recognized on June 8th during the Educators Connect for Success Conference in Columbus at the Ohio State University Student Union.

The 2017-2018 school calendar is now available. The first day for students will be Wednesday, August 23, 2017. 
Art Park Project to be Unveiled
Ribbon cutting for the sculpture designed by Coshocton High School students is scheduled for Friday, May 5th at 6 pm in the ArtPark on Main Street. Student members of the Project-Based Learning Team, also known as Art Connects CHS, presented to the CCS Board of Education a culmination of the year-long project they have been creating. 
Coshocton County Youth Leadership Participants Honored
In a recent ceremony held at the Frontier Power Community Room, four Coshocton High School juniors were recognized at an annual ceremony to celebrate the successes of this year’s Coshocton County Youth Leadership program. Elle Coffman, Madison Miller, Ashley Roahrig and Tara Salmans were each presented with certificates in front of family, friends, administrators and members of the Coshocton Foundation. The students shared their individual or group project entitled, “Pay it Forward: A Year of Service.” 
Students Inducted into the National Art Honor Society

Congratulations to seniors Mary Jackson and Isabel Palmer and juniors Christa Lain and Aubrey Locke for being inducted into the National Art Honor Society in a ceremony at Coshocton High School on March 28, 2017. This is the 14th annual induction ceremony at CHS with current members, staff and parents in attendance.
