Art Park Project to be Unveiled
Ribbon cutting for the sculpture designed by Coshocton High School students is scheduled for Friday, May 5th at 6 pm in the ArtPark on Main Street. Student members of the Project-Based Learning Team, also known as Art Connects CHS, presented to the CCS Board of Education a culmination of the year-long project they have been creating. 
The Ohio Healthy Youth Environments Survey (OHYES!)
The Ohio Healthy Youth Environments Survey (OHYES!) is a free, voluntary, web-based survey to collect information that schools and communities can use to access resources to reduce risk behaviors and create healthy and safe community, school and family environments. Student participation in the OHYES! is completely voluntary and anonymous. The Coshocton City Schools will be taking part in these OHYES! surveys the week of May 17th. Information and resources about the survey can be found at http://www.ohyes.ohio.gov/.
 
Coshocton County Youth Leadership Participants Honored
In a recent ceremony held at the Frontier Power Community Room, four Coshocton High School juniors were recognized at an annual ceremony to celebrate the successes of this year’s Coshocton County Youth Leadership program. Elle Coffman, Madison Miller, Ashley Roahrig and Tara Salmans were each presented with certificates in front of family, friends, administrators and members of the Coshocton Foundation. The students shared their individual or group project entitled, “Pay it Forward: A Year of Service.” 
2017-18 School Calendar
The 2017-2018 school calendar is now available. The first day for students will be Wednesday, August 23, 2017. 
Students Inducted into the National Art Honor Society
Congratulations to seniors Mary Jackson and Isabel Palmer and juniors Christa Lain and Aubrey Locke for being inducted into the National Art Honor Society in a ceremony at Coshocton High School on March 28, 2017. This is the 14th annual induction ceremony at CHS with current members, staff and parents in attendance.  
MVESC Honors CHS Seniors
On March 8th, the Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center recognized Coshocton HS seniors, Skyler Wright and Tara Brush at a ceremony held at Zane State University. Skyler was nominated for a chance to receive the Franklin B. Walter Scholarship. He is ranked #1 in his class, with the highest grade point average. Tara was selected as the ESC's Outstanding Sr. She also got the chance to select Coshocton Elementary teacher, Wendy Kimberley, as a person that had a great influence on her education. 
Preschool Enrollment for 2017-18 begins Tuesday, April 18, 2017
Coshocton City Schools will begin taking preschool applications on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, for the 2017-18 school year.   
Spring Driver's Education begins March 19, 2017

Kindergarten registration begins on Tuesday, March 21, 2017
Coshocton City Schools will begin accepting phone calls for kindergarten registration on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.  
Office 365 for Students
Coshocton City Schools is a Microsoft Showcase district. As part of that, all students in grades 6-12 with Office 365 accounts have access to Microsoft products at home AT NO COST.
